About

Aimee Dieterle  is a dynamic artist formally trained in Graphic Design at the Art Institute  of Atlanta and in Fine Arts at Pacific North West College of Art in Portland, Oregon. Aimee  merges these disciplines as she brings canvases to life with rich colors and exciting graphic details.

As a artist I work hard to develop paintings that speak both to myself and to others about the beauty that exists in the natural world. My paintings seem to be at the intersection between landscape and abstraction I’m always interested in creating space and distance that feels like the world around us but at the same time ambiguous and abstracted.

When I create I want to make pieces that invoke wonder and fascination I am a lover of details and believe there could never be enough. For me creating art is as much about the process as the end result. I’m a passionate About the endless possibilities this medium provides and I’m always experimenting with new ways and techniques to make the end result even better.

Every time I create a new piece I learned something new and feel myself growing as an artist each time. I love making peoples walls and life’s brighter. If you have any specific color palette in mind, size,  space just let me know

I have owned and operated two galleries: the FiveA Gallery in Portland and my current gallery and workshop in Friday Harbor, Washington.
